1. Warm wood tones return to engineered hardwood flooring. According to the forecast, the grey-washed floors that dominated the past decade are giving way to honey, natural oak and walnut tones. Wood-look tile, vinyl plank and laminate that run continuously from room to room remove transitions and make smaller homes feel larger.
