Southern Comfort Mechanical, a family-owned HVAC and plumbing company serving Lewisville and the surrounding Denton County communities since 2007, has announced its sponsorship of the Santa Hustle® Dallas race, taking place Saturday, December 5, 2026, at The Sound at Cypress Waters in Coppell. The sponsorship supports a festive community event that brings runners, walkers, and families together to kick off the holiday season in North Texas.
Part of the national Santa Hustle® Race Series, the Dallas-area event features a 10K, a 5K, and a 1K Kids Dash open to children up to age 12. Every participant receives festive race gear, including a long-sleeve shirt, beanie, and finisher medal, while Kids Dash runners get a Santa hat and beard. Cheerful volunteers line the course, and cookies, candy, and hot cocoa await every Santa at the finish line. The officially timed race also offers registration discounts for military members, first responders, and teachers through GOVX.
Because Coppell is part of Southern Comfort Mechanical's service area, the race gives the company a chance to support families in a community its technicians already serve every day. As a local, family-owned business, the company has built its reputation on honesty, integrity, and transparent communication, explaining every job in detail before work begins. Sponsoring a family-friendly holiday event is one more way for the Lewisville HVAC company to give back to the North Texas communities that have supported it for nearly two decades.
Southern Comfort Mechanical has been named Best of Denton County four years in a row. The company provides AC repair and installation, furnace and heat pump services, ductless mini-splits, indoor air quality solutions, and full residential and commercial plumbing services, and its EPA-certified technicians service all makes and models. As a Trane dealer with fully stocked trucks, the team serves Lewisville, Flower Mound, Coppell, Carrollton, Frisco, Highland Village, The Colony, Southlake, and surrounding communities from two locations. Early December is also when many North Texas homeowners switch on their heat for the season, making it a good time to schedule a furnace tune-up before holiday guests arrive.

Volunteers are also welcome to help with check-in, medal distribution, and other race day tasks.
